Herbert Berghoff, founder of HJB Management, began his career with Price Waterhouse. After several years, he became the Chief Internal Auditor of a major bank. He then spent a few years in private accounting before starting his own CPA firm. He then sold his firm, only to realize that Public Accounting was for him. He then founded HJB Management, and then grew the firm until Stephen Kang agreed to join Herb to grow the firm exponentially to where it is today. The firm specializes in income tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. The firm has numerous clients in the business management of individuals and business entities, and prepares timely financial statements for clients. We are involved in estate planning and the purchase and sale of businesses representing our clients.

Stephen has nearly a decade of experience performing full-cycle accounting, tax, and advisory services for clients in a wide range of industries. He has a passion for working closely with clients to form modern, comprehensive, and personalized strategies in order to help them achieve financial success.

A sports enthusiast, Stephen’s interest in statistics carries over to baseball sabermetrics, and he can often be found playing rec league softball in his free time.
